The location worked perfectly for hiking and exploring Istria, and the price was great value. Our room was spacious, lovely, and very clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast each morning had a good range to choose from. No complaints for an affordable hotel.

The staff were nice, and the location was good. For the price, it's a pleasant enough place, though the rooms feel a bit cheap and have a questionable socialist-era style. Breakfast could use some improvement.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. The room was bad, and the AC didn't work. Breakfast was dry and tasteless, and the reception staff behaved extremely poorly. It was cheaper than other places, but still not worth the money. Staying here was a big mistake.

The reception and housekeeping staff were very nice, but Hotel Fontana is really more like a 2-star hotel. The rooms are old and not very clean. Breakfast was poor too, with only a little fruit and products that seemed cheap. It might be okay for one night.
