Apartments Rilovic, City and Sea view apartments

The owner was always available and so helpful, and the walk to the centre takes just a few minutes. The bus stop is seconds away. There are steps and a lit road down the small hill into Cavtat. Our apartment had lovely views over the bay, church and town, especially at night from Apartments Rilović. Everything was spotless, with great amenities including laundry facilities, clean bedding, TV, hairdryer, towels, washing services and a superb bathroom. It made our Croatia holiday extra special for our 30th wedding anniversary, and we’ll definitely return.

Mato looked after us throughout our 14-night stay in May and June, made sure we had everything we needed and kept in good contact. He picked us up from Dubrovnik airport and took us back for our return flight. Rilovic Apartments are well kept, good quality and in a great spot above Cavtat town and bay, reached by a series of steps from the centre. We enjoyed the lovely large terrace during the day, with sun loungers and a parasol. Thanks, Mato, for a lovely holiday. Damien & Mary Warren.

Cavtat village was a highlight, with its coastal walk, stony swimming spots, museums, shaded promenade and good restaurants. The water is so clear you can see the fish and the bottom, though wear swim shoes to avoid sea urchins. A boat day trip to Dubrovnik is a must. Our week at Apts Rilovic was too short, and we’ll definitely come back. Mato was a lovely, polite host, very organised and easy to chat with, and nothing was too much trouble. We had a clean apartment with every appliance we needed and our own balcony with a stunning view. It’s up a steep hill with steps and an inclined road, so best avoided in midday heat, but it’s good exercise.

Malo was an absolute star and nothing was too much trouble. He arranged to pick us up from the airport and take us back, and on our last day, with an evening flight, he generously let us use another apartment and its facilities. The large terrace, accessed directly from the bedroom, had great views over Cavtat. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. Cavtat is beautiful, with excellent bars and restaurants nearby and gentle walks around the harbour and headland. The slope and steps up to the apartment might be difficult for someone with walking problems, though we’re both in our 60s and managed fine. We stayed for a week in A1 and will return.
