The place itself is clean and cozy, and give that cat lots of love! But since you knew the air conditioning wasn't working, the nightly price should have been lower. You said the remote worked but the unit didn't, so another room should have been offered. I'm sorry about your 18-year-old cat and know he's in good hands. I was talking about the other gray cat. Five stars.

The apartment was clean and tidy, with a nice view of the sea. There was construction happening on the neighboring lot while we were there. Getting up from the port takes good physical condition: there are lots of steps and a steep hill, and part of the way follows a road without a pavement. I found that a bit dangerous, especially with children.

We enjoyed the place enough to stay one night longer than planned. The staff were friendly and even stayed up for us when our plane was delayed past closing time. Cavtat is a pleasant village with good restaurants, and you can easily take a boat from the harbor to Dubrovnik.

Never again. The furniture was old and smelled bad. While cleaning, the landlady took towels from our apartment, then wanted us to pay for them on the last day. She also told our guests to leave “her driveway” because they weren't listed in her book, even though they were only waiting for us to go to the beach. Not recommended.
