After Dubrovnik, Hvar, and korcula, this ended up being our favorite stop on the Croatia trip. We had room 3, which was spacious and clean, with everything we needed and a little kitchenette. That saved us a lot of money because restaurants are quite pricey. In our earlier towns, most places we stayed were small, so it was great to have space to unpack, dry wet clothes, and make and eat meals. The location worked really well, near good restaurants and tourist spots, with a lovely walking path and several little swimming spots. The pool was great too. In the evenings, live music from a nearby restaurant drifted over, which felt quite romantic.

We highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Cavtat. It’s in the old town, with a great sun terrace, and the hosts were very friendly and communicated well. The place felt safe and was clean. There are a few steps up an alley from the shops and restaurants, but it sits far enough back that it stays quiet.

We came across Villa Agava by chance while exploring the area and spending a few days in Cavtat, and ended up staying there twice. Both visits made us happy. The owners answered every question quickly, and communication with the staff was excellent. The rooms were clean and well equipped; the towels smelled fresh, and the bathroom had a hairdryer and mini toiletries. We especially enjoyed the pool on the sun terrace and its magnificent view across the bay and sea. We came home rested and happy, and will definitely return. ☺️

We had a wonderful time at Villa Agava and would happily recommend it. Our room was tastefully decorated, lovely, clean, and comfortable. It’s well located near the restaurants, port, and beaches. Manuela and Rakto were so kind and welcoming. We’ll definitely come back! Agathe and Nicolas
