Boutique B&B Villa Faggioni

For one night, this worked out fine, especially with the airport so close. Check-in was easy, the location was good, and the room was generally clean. The kitchenette and TV were useful too. That said, room 5 had some mold and unexplained bathroom stains, the mattress felt worn, and being a ground-floor corner room made the space feel dark and confined.

We had a medical emergency and had to leave without using our last night, but management refused our request for a refund. Their lack of understanding and support was upsetting. I would be wary of staying here because they weren't flexible in that situation.

We only had two days here before heading home, and it turned out to be the highlight of the trip. Our recently renovated room was comfortable, and everything we wanted to see was an easy walk away, including bars, restaurants, beaches, and excursions. Villa Faggioni is a great option for a visit to Cavtat or the surrounding area. Breakfast is included at a very good restaurant downstairs. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We were in Dubrovnik the night before our flight with nowhere to stay, and it was off-season with few options. We got lucky and found a room at Villa Faggione, ready just half an hour after booking. It's right in the centre of Cavtat's waterfront, in a spectacular location. Now we need to come back during the season!
