The host made our stay easy, sharing lots of helpful suggestions on what to do, where to go, and where to eat in Cavtat. We liked that Villa Maja is on the smaller side, since we wanted somewhere quiet. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the centre, and the spot is set back a bit from the main road, so evenings were very peaceful. The apartment was spacious, well laid out, and super clean, and the place itself seems quite new. Wi-Fi and air conditioning both worked very well. The pool isn’t large, but it was fine for relaxing, and getting to the parking lot was easy.

We loved the location, with the supermarket only a 3-minute drive away, the town centre and beach area 5 minutes away, and Dubrovnik about 15 minutes by car. The ground-floor bronze apartment opens straight onto the pool, which was really handy, and there’s free parking right outside for unloading and packing up. Inside, it was beautifully presented and well furnished, with everything we needed: a Gusto coffee machine with the large pods, washing machine, dishwasher, stove, toiletries, sheets, towels, smart TV, and free Wi-Fi. There’s air conditioning in both the lounge and bedroom. Brilliant apartment in a brilliant spot!

We came back to Villa Maja for a second stay, and enjoyed it even more than the first. The hosts were wonderful as always, and the apartment was very clean. There’s now a pool and an outdoor shower in the yard, along with a lot more greenery. It’s nice to see the effort they’re making to add new things and help guests enjoy their stay. Thank you!

The owner was so kind and helpful with her advice, and really attentive to the little details. The villa is beautiful, and the apartment is new, very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The beds were great to sleep in, and there’s air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom. 100% recommended!
