Housekeeping came every day to make the beds and change the towels, and the unit itself was clean and well kept. It’s conveniently close to the town centre, though getting back means walking uphill and can be a bit of a challenge. What brought my rating down to three stars was the owners’ heavy smoking in the first unit. They leave the door open, and smoke drifts up into the other units. With small kids, that really affected how comfortable our stay was.

The room was clean and better than I expected, and the host was friendly and kind. I needed an early check-in, and she was very accommodating. My sleep was the problem: the walls were so thin that I could hear everything outside my room, and it kept waking me up at night. Apart from that, I had a great experience at Villa Voinic.

The kitchen had more than we expected, even a panini press, and the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The room was just the right size for a cozy stay. Our host welcomed us warmly and was happy to let us check in early. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Our room had a new bathroom and comfortable beds. The place was clean, reasonably priced, and the owner was friendly and helpful. It sits on a steep hill, with a nice view over the sea and town below. Parking is limited, though that’s to be expected since it isn’t a hotel.
