The staircase carries every sound, and I think the owners should either be more understanding or improve the doors or add some carpet. We were on holiday and didn’t need to get up early for work. I was always polite, but you crossed the line. There was no music or shouting, just conversation, yet we were threatened with being thrown out. After 10 PM, even slight noise in the corridor gets noticed, and the owners keep an eye on you during the day too. It felt like being watched at every step, almost like the KGB. I’ve visited Croatia about ten times and never had an experience like this. If you want your holiday to feel like staying in a funeral home, this is the place. Strongly not recommended.

You feel so welcome and cared for here. Ivan and Marija Renić are warm, helpful, friendly and generous hosts, proud of their country and keen to introduce guests to Croatian food, culture, traditions and people. Their hospitality means more than the clean, tidy, very well-equipped place, which is worth every bit of what we paid. You won’t regret staying with them.

Marija and Ivan made us feel like real guests, and that was the best part of our stay. The modern apartment was super clean, close to the beach and the Velebit mountains. A lovely place to spend time in Croatia, and it exceeded what we expected. We’ll definitely come back sometime. Peter and Renate

The owners were kind and very helpful, and the two-bedroom apartment was in great shape. It’s in a lovely little fishing village, just a short walk from the sea, with Karlobag only a quick five-minute drive away.
