Apartment 1 was a real highlight, especially the little terrace overlooking the sea. There’s a breeze through the day, and we enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner out there. The apartment was charming and clean, with the basics covered, from kitchen utensils and bathroom cleaning supplies to a broom and dustpan. A larger frying pan would have been useful. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows were too soft for me, and the air conditioning came in handy. The house has three apartments on the first floor, while the ground and second floors are closed. You can hear the neighboring apartments, including noise from the drains. The owners, Visnjia and her husband, were welcoming. He was particularly helpful and friendly, and speaks Italian. There are three or four parking spaces in the courtyard. It’s easy to reach the house, and the beaches of Cizici are a short walk away. There aren’t any streetlights, though, so going into town on foot in the evening isn’t a good idea. Cizici was quiet and peaceful in July. Thanks to the owners for their hospitality, including toward our four-legged friend. We’ll be back.
