Apartments Mara Cres

I’d definitely come back. The apartment was comfortable, nicely furnished, and in a great spot.

We had such lovely summer days here. The hostess was so friendly, and the modern, clean apartment had great amenities and a terrace. Thank you so much! ☀️

Although the apartment looked lovely at first and seemed to have all the comforts, we had asked for a non-smoking room and found it full of smoke. The sofas smelled strongly of it, the walls reeked, and by the next day our clothes smelled too. We complained to Booking.com and are waiting to hear back. We also filed a complaint with the relevant authorities, because we feel an apartment like this needs renovating. It’s on level minus 3 and has no emergency exit.

The landlord was a real bright spot, very accommodating and helpful. Getting to the beach or village center is quickest by car, though parking often costs money. There was plenty of kitchenware and towels, and the modern apartment had everything we needed. I found some of the decor excessive and not really matching. There were also far too many closets for us, leaving nowhere to put our suitcases. The kitchen, living room, and bathroom could use more electrical outlets, since there was only one in the kitchen area and one in the bathroom. I’d have preferred a shower to the bathtub, especially as the floor was soaking wet after showering, though I guess that’s a matter of preference.
