The two balconies and three floors made it easy to have space to ourselves, and our two cats loved the place too. House Barbarossa is right in the center and had everything we needed. It was cosy, clean, quiet, and practical. Our host was lovely, with a great sense of style that comes through in the house, and made our stay in Cres even nicer. I really hope we can return. I’d recommend it!

The owner was so kind and accommodating, and the home has thoughtful little touches throughout. It’s right in the heart of Cres and so well equipped, from scissors to an iron, it seemed to have everything you could need. Nothing to complain about. We’d happily come back anytime.

We were two adults, three kids, and a dog, and felt right at home in the modern apartment. There’s great Wi-Fi, air conditioning on every floor, and everything you might need. It’s in a beautiful old building, spread over three floors, and has its own parking spot about 300 meters away. The old town is car-free, so keep that in mind if you’re visiting Cres. Spela welcomed us in person and showed us around. We had a wonderful week at Barbarossa House from July 15th to 22nd, 2023, though it went by much too fast. Thanks, Spela, and hope to see you again soon!
