Apartment Ankica L4

The apartment was clean and fairly close to the sea, but that's the only good thing I can say. We arrived for a 10 days stay and were immediately told that air conditioning would cost an extra 50 eur. When we later asked about washing the bedding and towels because we were staying for two weeks, that also came with an extra charge. We said we only wanted the a/c for two nights and didn't want to pay 6 euros to wash clothes, especially when I pay 3 in Germany. The old lady became aggressive and rude. Two days later the air conditioner was switched off, and we were told we had broken it by keeping the temperature low. The old lady had a sour, unhappy expression the whole time, was rude, and couldn't really have a conversation in any of the languages. She kept switching to Croatian. We were charged for everything, and there wasn't even salt or soap in the apartment. We got just one toilet paper roll for two weeks, and any extra roll cost money. Expect charges if you want to use the washing machine for bed linen, too. I don't recommend staying here if you want a relaxing holiday without having to run around for toilet paper, shower gel, salt, and soap. The service was non-existent, and for this price you can find somewhere much more decent, where you aren't charged for every breath. The old lady also came into our apartment without our permission to check everything and see whether we'd stolen anything. When we took the bed sheets to wash them for free at the place where our friends were staying, she threatened to call the police. Stay away if you want a nice, peaceful vacation.
