Apartment Ivana

This review is only about the ground-floor apartment at the front of the house. There are three or four apartments altogether, and I can't say what the others are like. It has the basics you need, and the furnishings are okay, though a bit dated, with a few small problems. The kitchen has a coffee maker, kettle, oven, stove with three gas burners and one electric burner, fridge, cookware, dishes, and cutlery. There’s no freezer compartment for ice. Wi-Fi is free and runs just under 10 Mbps. Air conditioning is only in the living room and kitchen, not the bedrooms. There aren't many outlets, so a family charging phones, tablets, and digital cameras may struggle. Bring a few power strips. In the double bedroom, an outlet was half out of the wall, though I managed to fix it myself. The curtain rod in the children's room, with two single beds, is broken and patched with tape. The windows don't shut properly, so insects get in and panic my eleven-year-old daughter. The bathroom is tiny, and the shower feels cramped. It's a short bathtub with a curtain and handheld shower head, which doesn't sit properly in its very wobbly holder. A large water heater hangs above the tub and takes up more room. The ventilation doesn't work. Each person gets one small towel, which wasn't enough to dry off after showering, so bringing bath towels from home is a good idea. The outside could do with fresh paint, and the inside could use some renovation too.
