10/10
The apartment we ended up in had a stunning view, and the pool area stayed cozy and peaceful even with a few people there. We had a great week, and both rooms we stayed in were comfortable, though we had to move after the first night. The internet was really poor, and phone reception wasn't much better. That made for a calm holiday, but as a freelancer I had to cancel a day of work meetings. I'd rate it 4.7 for that reason.

The owners were very friendly, and we do appreciate that, but our stay was disappointing in several ways. We had booked and paid quite a lot for a room in May, then learned just 20 minutes before arrival that it was overbooked. We were sent to a different address without any real discussion. The apartment there was fine and the view fantastic, but the shower had no hot water, and the issue wasn't fixed after we reported it. Four days later we were moved to Villa Klaudia. The view was fantastic there too, but the bathroom smelled unpleasant and didn't feel clean, while the refrigerator had a strong moldy odor. The bed was the worst part: there were dirty white spots, so we suspected the bedding hadn't been fully changed. It felt very unhygienic. The distance details for the apartment we originally booked were also completely wrong. The beach and center were said to be within walking distance, but for us walking there in the heat wasn't possible, so we had to drive each time. Given that we were placed somewhere other than what we had requested, we regret that the owners never offered or even discussed compensation.

We'll definitely come back! It was a relaxing, fantastic vacation, with 5/5 for the staff, cleanliness, and location. :)
