The location is the best part: right on the seafront, with places to lie down and swim within walking distance. Crikvenica's centre is 2 km away, and Selce's is 3 km. I wouldn't return, though. For seven days, €110 a night wasn't worth it, and the place looked better outside than it was inside. Our room was about 2m by 2m, with a very cramped shower and a small wardrobe that had no hangers. It was only just clean, and there were spiders on the ceiling. There was no fridge, ice machine, or AC. Daytime temperatures were 35° and nights reached 28°. The restaurant waiters kindly gave us ice, but the room doors weren't sealed, so we could hear neighbouring guests, restaurant customers late into the night, and dogs on balconies. Breakfast was included: two cheeses, three meats, eggs made as requested, watermelon one day and melon another, a couple of yogurts, flakes, bread with butter and marmalade, two juices, and tap water. Everything was at room temperature. Serving warm juice and yogurt felt shameful, especially when it was already 30° at 8-10am, after a hot night without AC or a fridge. A refreshing drink would have been welcome.

After travelling 1000km, we arrived late in the evening, tired, and went to the connected Dida restaurant. They said the kitchen was almost closed and offered cold appetizers. We got five types on one small plate, plus two glasses of wine and beers. I have a picture. Another couple was there too, so we weren't the only guests. The bill was €120. The next day, we checked the menu on their site and dish photos on Instagram. Menu prices were three times lower, and the Instagram portions looked twice as large. They didn't show us a menu or ask which appetizers we wanted. It felt like they took advantage of us and served less at three times the price. Thanks for trying to help, but it would've been better to simply say you couldn't help us properly. We won't return. If you go, check the menu, bill, and portion sizes carefully. Don't trust reception staff who say they want to help, they want extra money from you. We contacted the hotel through Booking because the restaurant is connected to it and they work together. The hotel asked the restaurant, then replied, “I'm sorry to hear that”.

The view from the restaurant terrace was nice, and breakfast was okay, but I wouldn't recommend the place. Our room wasn't really clean: there were carpet stains and dust in the corners. Room cleaning mostly meant emptying the bin and making the bed.

We really enjoyed our stay. The garden is beautiful, and the sea view is great. Our room was clean and lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and a very good breakfast was included in the price. Greetings from Vienna!

The staff were approachable and professional, and the accommodation was beautiful. There's a nice, secluded beach just a few metres away.
