Hotel Park

Don't book this, it feels like a scam. There was no internet, barely any water pressure, and no phone in the room. Everything was dusty and dirty, and the parking advertised as free wasn't free.

The location is good, the outside looks beautiful, and reception is tidy. Klaudija and Karolina were kind at the front desk, but the young man who didn't introduce himself was extremely rude when we left. The hotel charged us the full seven-day stay and seven days of tourist tax even though we stayed only one day. The room wasn't as advertised: no WiFi, a dirty window, and no trash can. There was no real closet, just a doorless box with hangers. The room and bathroom felt unfinished, with concrete glue on the bathroom tiles and a neglected shower. The curtains fell because there was no stopper, and the air conditioner had a problem but there was no technician to help. At least the TV worked, though it had no antenna cable when we arrived. The elevator didn't work, and the pool was neglected and looked unlikely to open for a long time.

The air conditioner leaked and didn't work, so the room stayed at 29 degrees even with it on. The room smelled so bad we couldn't air it out. There was a dirty bed beside the bed, and the balcony door was halfway open and barely moved. I was afraid it would fall apart. I never saw anyone clean the balcony. If I could, I'd give it minus one star. This hotel doesn't deserve even one.

The room was a disaster, with creased sheets that looked slept in and floors so dirty they seemed not to have been vacuumed for a year. The toilet was awful, the soap dispenser was peeling away from the sink, and there was hair in the unfinished shower. The door and the hallway were smeared too. Even the entrance was dirty and streaked when we arrived. We reported everything to the man at reception, and he offered another room in the same condition. In the end he threw us out in a very unpleasant way. For a four-star hotel, it was a nightmare, and I wouldn't recommend this welcome or stay to anyone. It's a shame Croatia offers guests something like this under a four-star rating.
