Hotel Miramare

This was my second visit to Hotel Miramare with a tour group, and I've already booked the next one. My room was spotless and well appointed, with bathrobes, slippers, and coffee supplies. The common areas felt welcoming, with fresh flowers in the lobby. Reception staff were competent and warm, and checked in several times to see if I was happy. I had a hot stone massage with Ms. Susie, who was amazing, and I'd highly recommend her. The restaurant team were efficient and professional, and as far as I could tell, they all spoke several languages. Special thanks to Goran for patiently answering all my questions and taking good care of me.

The breakfast was especially good, with lots of choices, including salmon and champagne. We also enjoyed the pool, sauna, and gym, and the Adriatic coast views made the stay feel special. The hotel was modern and spotless, and the service felt exceptional, at a European level. We spent two nights here and had a wonderful time. I'd definitely recommend it.

The room was spotless each day, and we sometimes came back to little thoughtful touches from the cleaning staff. They deserve special recognition for their hard work and attention to detail. We also had a small fridge issue, and the technician who came to help was polite, professional, and quick. At dinner, the waiters were kind and attentive without hovering, and made each meal feel special with their service and the atmosphere. Reception were welcoming and ready to help with questions about transport, local sights, or directions. From arrival, everyone at Hotel Miramare in Crikvenica made us feel cared for, and the whole stay was flawless. It is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location, run by people who clearly care about guests. We can't wait to return. We'll also stay at Le Premier Zagreb again, which has the same owner. We came for three nights over the November holidays, our first time at a five-star hotel, so we expected a lot. The fitness area and terrace were both pleasant and well maintained. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and impeccably clean, and breakfast had plenty of options for everyone. Dinner was disappointing by comparison, especially for vegetarians, whose choices were very limited. Plenty of four-star hotels serve better dinners. We had come mainly to relax in the sauna, but that was the biggest letdown. There are two, neither very large, and they were shockingly dirty. Under the benches in the Finnish sauna there was a thick layer of dust, making it obvious it hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. It wasn't relaxing at all.
