Villa Aurora

The first and last impression was “OMG,” and not in a good way. We booked a last minute seaside trip, and this was the last affordable place left in Crikvenica. Our room was very outdated, with a tiny window and an even smaller fridge. There were stairs everywhere, which made hauling suitcases with a baby a nightmare. The hotel sits high up the hill, with a long walk down to the beach, so I wouldn't recommend it for families with small children. The food was average and breakfast was the same every day. It's rated three stars, but with the food and old furniture, I'd give it two. One more thing: there's a strict seating arrangement on the terrace. Even when nobody else is there, you can't sit wherever you like. You have to sit where they put you, or you could get yourself into trouble.

We felt at home here, and the place was clean and very sweet. The little family hotel has a wonderful view from the restaurant terrace and some rooms. Parking is available in the garage and outside, and the staff are helpful, welcoming, and always smiling. Great value for the price, warmly recommended 🤗

The staff were lovely and helpful, the food was good, and the rooms were well kept. It's a very nice, small, romantic hotel.

We come back year after year because the owner is so welcoming and generous. Breakfast is very good, and the terrace looks out over the whole Kvarner area. A lovely experience 😊💜💓💙🌺🌸💗💚
