The waiter who looked after us was kind and willing to help. We had two soups, one with mushrooms and one spicy beef, and both were wonderful, especially the mushroom one. The schnitzel and chicken with fries were tasty and generous portions, too. A lady at the toll booth had pointed us here when we asked where to get good traditional food. Inside, the restaurant feels like another decade, but it's tasteful, clean, and very well air-conditioned. There's an outdoor area behind it with free parking, and smoking is allowed there.

Free parking is close to the hotel, and the staff were very friendly and spoke English. Breakfast is buffet style, and the kitchen stays open until 22:00. It's a good place for an overnight stop. The hotel is quite old, but everything was very clean. It's in the middle of Dakovo city, and the main street with the nice Cathedral is about five minutes away.

The people working there were as special as everything they served. Laguna is a guest house and restaurant we'd love to return to. What gets me down most is that I can't stay and eat there every day, because it's all just that amazing.
