Up on the hill above Podčetrtek, it feels peaceful and far from the everyday rush. The hosts are GREAT, and you can order homemade meals too.

The rooms are simple, but had everything I needed, and I left feeling recharged. What really made the stay was the setting, high on a hill with views across the valley to Veliki tabor castle. The owners and their two golden retrievers were super friendly. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, all homemade, and the wine was fit for the Greek gods. There’s a lovely terrace for sitting in the sun and chatting. I’d highly recommend it.

It was hard to find the place at night, and the heating wasn't working. The rooms were very basic for both standard and comfort. But breakfast was delicious, and at 5€ it was great value. Add the spectacular views over the hills and the fireplace in the breakfast room, and those made up for the drawbacks. I'll come back in summer!

The owner was friendly, and the air was fresh with green meadows all around. Breakfast was good, with organic eggs, salami, and yogurt, and all the food was local. The rooms are basic but very clean, with good beds. I'd stay there again.

The countryside setting is lovely, with beautiful nature and panoramic mountain views. The owners are very nice, and the homemade cooking was amazing.
