Abalone Apartments

The main downside was the noise from the next-door hostel Cakovec, which was louder than anywhere else in the area. The nearest beach also wasn’t especially attractive and might not suit everyone, though there are nicer beaches within walking distance or reachable by tourist train, with sand or fine pebbles. As for the apartment, I have no complaints about the place or its service. It’s in a new building, furnished to a high standard, and the photos match what you get. The internet was fast. Around six apartments share their own pool, and each has a terrace jacuzzi with a sea view. We didn’t take the breakfast offered at the nearby hotel, but it could be a nice upgrade for some guests. Remi pizzeria is one street down, Lidl is three minutes away by car, and a smaller Konzum is one street up, though it felt like a tourist trap. Guest parking is in the lot across from the building, one street up, in the lot not shown in the photo. The standout was the excellent service and really lovely staff. I’d consider booking again because of them.

The hostel nearby was the one real drawback, with parties, shouting and awful noise both day and night. Apart from that, we had a wonderful stay. The place is modern and clean, with a lovely terrace view, a jacuzzi and a large pool. It’s close to the beach, has plenty of amenities, and the service and location were great.

We stayed in apartment B3 and loved the sea view from it, along with relaxing in the jacuzzi. It’s such a beautiful place to unwind and recharge, one of the nicest places we’ve ever been. The whole organization and service were at a very high level. Mrs. Mladenka was especially professional and kind, welcoming us as if we’d known each other for years. There’s a pool with a self-service bar, and our apartment was lovely, clean and luxurious, with its own hot tub. The staff were friendly and nice. ☀️
