For the price, this very basic low-cost room is okay for a night or two, but I’d look elsewhere for a longer stay. There was just one power outlet and only one working light. The shower smelled, there was no AC, and room service came after four days. They didn’t change the towels or do anything else.

The location by the beach and in the countryside is very good, and the service was good too. The staff were polite and hardworking. There isn’t much around beyond a few coffee shops, and getting to Cirkvenica means taking a taxi or tourist train. The bungalows and restaurant need renovation, and the place is overpriced for what you get. There’s not much else to say about it. I had a better stay at Omisalj Hotel Adriatic, which I rated 3 stars, and paid less. One thing I enjoyed was the feeling of stepping back in time to the 1970s or 1980s, when Yugoslavian workers holidayed here. As someone much younger, I found that a very good experience.

The sea is clean, and the rocks are nice, though there are no beaches. There’s a strong FKK culture, and Slovenian friends have recognized this camp as their own. The toilets are in poor condition, there’s no shade, and the cleaning lady makes noise at 6:45 a.m.

The accommodation is old and sometimes neglected, and the rooms get very hot. Breakfast is usually the same and the quality is average, so it’s not very good. There are lots of things to do nearby, including water bikes, snorkeling, and cliff jumping. The beaches are very nice, with lovely water and views, and they’re not too crowded compared with city and resort beaches. There’s a small shop selling all sorts of things from food to souvenirs, and the dinners are great.
