Pansion Skelin

We celebrated our wedding at the resort and loved every part of it. The team were very attentive, and both the food and wine were delicious. I'd happily recommend it to anyone.

Skelin Wine Resort is a lovely place to unwind with family, friends, or as a couple. My husband and I stayed with family and friends after our wedding reception there, and it gave us time to reconnect, have fun, and rest. The reception itself was magical. The rooms were clean, roomy, and comfortable, and the staff were always kind and helpful, making us feel welcome. There’s plenty to enjoy around the resort: you can visit the vineyards, relax by the pool, eat authentic, delicious food, or go to Krka national park. The resort feels both spacious and cozy. Getting there is an experience too, with a drive through a mountain canyon and some amazing views. In summer, the skies are clear and the sunshine is lovely; at night, the stars make a beautiful backdrop for their wine, meat, and cheese cuts. Skelin made a lasting impression on us.

We only got to stay for one night, which was a shame because we absolutely loved the place. The food was fantastic and the staff were incredible. Highly recommend.

A quiet spot well away from the tourist crowds, and a great base for exploring the area. Sibenik is about 25 minutes away, while Split and Zadar are a little over an hour by car. The nearby national park has waterfalls to visit, and there are plenty of other things to do, including a visit to the wine cellar, which I highly recommend. There are three pools among lots of greenery if you’re after a peaceful break. The stone buildings look beautiful in the landscape and make for a romantic getaway. The food is delicious and locally sourced, and the wines from Skelin winery are terrific. It also works really well for family gatherings and events. We’ve never been treated so well by the staff. The photos still don’t capture how nice the place is.
