I keep coming back most summers, and it’s still a place I enjoy. The four-star hotel feels cozy and personal, tucked among pine trees just steps from the beach. Half-board meals are tasty and varied, and the air-conditioned rooms are comfortable, with lovely bay or mountain views. The staff are welcoming and friendly.

The pool was a relaxing spot, and you can head straight out to the beach. I also really enjoyed the food, comfortable rooms, and gorgeous sea views. The service was excellent, which made for a lovely getaway.

We had a good time with the kids at this friendly, small hotel. The rooms are on the small side, but they were clean and cozy, and the all-inclusive food was delicious with lots of variety. There’s a little pool and a gym, and the Jumbo Team kept the children busy by the pool during the day. In the evenings there were fun games and events for adults too. The public beach is about a five-minute walk away, with bars nearby serving beer, pizza, and BBQ food. Since the hotel is at the southern end of the Makarska Riviera, it felt less crowded and less expensive than the better-known spots in Makarska. I didn’t bring a pet, so I can’t say for sure whether they’re allowed, though I suspect they aren’t.

I was disappointed by how dirty and uncomfortable the garden and terrace were, with broken chairs and tables. The pool is tiny, and the staff came across as unhelpful and unkind. The food was OK, but nothing special. There’s no tennis court, and the children’s playroom only runs on Sundays and Wednesdays. The kids’ disco is on those same days, but just for 20 minutes, from 20:00 to 20:20. A lot of the information on the website is simply misleading. Four stars feels far too generous to me, more like two.
