We found the apartment handy for the old town, about a 5-7 minute drive by car, though parking in Dubrovnik costs a lot. On our final night, we took an Uber for around €7.50, which worked out cheaper than driving and parking. There was plenty of room for more than two people and a big terrace. The host was lovely and even sent over a delicious homemade dessert. The place also had AC, a washing machine, hairdryer, towels, coffee, tea, a fridge, and free parking.

We could walk from the house to the old town and a few public beaches without any trouble, and there's a small market close by too. The garden and house are beautifully kept, and the room was clean and really nice. Our hostess was so friendly and accommodating. I even broke one of her drinking glasses, and she was very sweet about it. The tortoise colony was a lovely surprise, especially when they came "running" for fresh fruit! We had a great stay in this beautiful area and would definitely recommend it.

The room was spotless, with AC, a nice little shower and plenty of room to store luggage. There's an electric kettle, but no kitchen access or refrigerator, so plan to eat out or pick up a snack at the nearby Pemo market. A nice hotel.

The lovely host is what really makes this place, making sure you enjoy your stay. The rooms have everything you need, and the setting is beautiful, surrounded by a huge forest. I'd definitely stay again if I visit Dubrovnik.
