City Hotel Dubrovnik

Dear City Hotel Team, Thank you for making our stay in Dubrovnik so memorable. The warm hospitality and care you showed throughout made a real difference. I especially appreciated that you took care of all my requests, from the lovely flowers and wine to the birthday wishes for my wife. Those thoughtful gestures made her day, and we're both grateful. We'll be recommending City Hotel to our friends and family, and hope to come back. Everything exceeded our expectations.

The staff were the highlight for us, so genuine and friendly that it felt like staying with close friends or family. We had a peaceful night's sleep in the quiet room, and the air conditioning was great on a hot day, especially if you like it cold. Shops and restaurants are an easy walk away. There's secure parking in the garage beneath the hotel for €20 a night. We'll make a point of coming back to Dubrovnik and staying here again.

For our honeymoon, we got two twin beds pushed together, each with its own sheets and blankets. There's no microwave in the room, and TV is limited to local channels, with the signal cutting out so often that you can't finish a movie. The front desk doesn't answer when you call, though they do call back soon. I'd rate this hotel closer to 2/5 stars. Check other options.

Restaurants and supermarkets are close by, and the hotel is right by the bus station. Drivers get you to the old town in minutes, though brace yourself for a wild ride, they drive like crazy. I found the breakfast too expensive at 20 euro, but I'd still recommend this hotel for Dubrovnik.
