The owner is kind, and the spot works for exploring the city on foot. But you get what you pay for: the room is small and old, and the bed isn't very comfortable. The loud wind blowing through the windows every night was the worst part. It's somewhere to sleep, not spend time.

The internet wasn't working when we arrived. The owner dismissed what all three of us told him and insisted it was fine. We also weren't given the advertised room with a double bed. Our room was adequate for us, but that could have caused trouble for other guests. Check-in was stressful from the start. Instructions came repeatedly by email and Booking.com chat, but the link they referred to appeared in only one of the messages. Once we found it, it took us to another platform that required a login and worked poorly. The location was hard to find, and the instructions didn't say whether anyone would meet us. When we arrived, a shirtless man who spoke no English couldn't find our reservation and sent us away. I had to search through his emails myself to show him my name and booking. We were also told to pay cash even though money had already been frozen on my card. This hadn't been clearly stated when booking, and withdrawing cash cost us 14% more. I still haven't had the deposit returned. I saw comments suggesting other customers had struggled with this too. The owner walked around shirtless and once came out of his room in his underwear.

Clean, tidy, and set up with what we needed for a longer stay. I would've appreciated instructions for using the dry function on the washer-dryer.

Everything felt dirty, with lots of hair in the shared bathroom, and the furniture was old. The owner met us at the door and demanded payment on the spot, although I'd already paid online through Booking. He wandered the hallway in his pajamas and shouted. A terrible experience.
