The terrace was a great place to get away from the crowds and sit with a drink or a book. The views are lovely, even though you can't see the old town, and staying outside it turned out to be a real plus. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful. She brought us cake for breakfast one morning and helped us call for food later that day. There were beers waiting in the fridge when we arrived. I'd highly recommend staying here.

There was no breakfast in my case, and getting to the apartments meant relying on a taxi or Uber. My room was small, about 9 square metres, with two beds, a TV, kettle and fridge. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the little bathroom worked fine, with a good shower. Staff were available, though street noise lasted until midnight. The apartments are private, on a panoramic spot quite far from the old town, about a 20-minute downhill walk. My price was 42 euros per person per night, low to medium, which felt balanced against the transport need.

Mariam is wonderful. She shares her family home with guests, and I can't say enough about her and her family. The setting is beautiful, and I'd book the apartment over the studio to get the most out of it. The uphill walk is the one drawback. We found that pre-booking a rental car at the airport could cost less than transfers, with Nova and Right Cars recommended. October brought fantastic late-season weather. Don't miss this place!
