We spent three nights here in July after booking through Booking.com. It was clean and comfortable, with great air conditioning, hot water, a handy location, and free parking. The host was lovely and really helpful. The property is about half a mile from the old town, but there's quite a climb with lots of steps, so keep that in mind. We got a little lost on arrival: from the main road, the place is across from the parking garage and down a short staircase. The parking area can be hard to spot if you don't know where to look. We parked in the garage, and the host helped us move the car. We'd highly recommend staying here.

The rooms were spotless and had large bathrooms, air conditioning, and a big mini fridge. Laundry was available for 15 Euros, and breakfast cost 10 Euro if you wanted it. There was parking too. They can arrange an airport car for 40 Euros, which was so convenient with heavy bags instead of dragging them around to catch an Uber or bus. Anka, I think that was her name, was the best. She was warm and welcoming, called us darling, and let us drop our bags off at 10 am. This was my favorite place of all the cities we stayed in Croatia. It's near Old Town but far enough from the packed crowds, which was a good thing.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the terrace looked out over the sea and old town. We had a large, comfortable room with a beautiful bathroom, private parking, and just a five-minute walk to old town. Charming place and great value.

The walk to the walled city is pleasant and fairly short, though there's a lot of up and down: many steps going down to town and back up afterward. It's around 50 meters of elevation in total. Parking costs a little, but it's not free. Still, a great place to stay.

We were glad to be away from the noisy, busy old town, even though it was still within walking distance. The room had a fridge and everything was newly refurbished and very clean. There was free car parking, and we could use the owners' big terrace to look out over the ocean and old town. Couldn't have picked a better spot.
