The location and decor were appealing, and we'd consider coming back. Our top-floor room was cosy, with a comfortable bed and good amenities. The air conditioning never worked properly, though, and the room stayed hot and humid throughout our July 2022 stay, which was uncomfortable at times. A few light bulbs were out, but that didn't bother us much. The toilet felt cramped, though I suppose that's part of converting an old, beautiful building. Finding the hotel was confusing at first, and we weren't sure we'd arrived at the right place. We waited around for our host to bring the key.

The apartment's arrival process was complicated. We only learned when we got there that we had to take all our luggage to an office first, then search for the accommodation ourselves with only basic directions. The website's parking details were unclear, and we booked this place because parking was offered. Apparently the limited spaces were already taken when we arrived. We were directed to public parking that cost an astonishing 257 euros for 1 ½ days. The Wi-Fi and other information were sparse, and the internet didn't work until the second day. We couldn't use or open the room safe until checkout. There also wasn't an ensuite bathroom: the toilet and shower were practically part of the bedroom, in a glass cubicle open at the top. We asked for a discount to make up for the trouble and got eight apologies, but nothing else. We wouldn't recommend this accommodation.

I paid online, then asked to pay in person and they agreed, so I gave them cash. They never refunded the online payment. I've emailed repeatedly, and every so often they say they tried, but won't show proof or provide any details. Avoid this place!
