The pool was a welcome place to unwind after a day exploring and climbing all those Old Town steps. The hotel is beautiful, with lovely decor, incredible views and staff who were friendly and helpful. I’d happily recommend it. There were a couple of snags. The entry system beeped for a while at 7am on 29/07 and woke us earlier than we wanted. Different staff were working that morning, and breakfast wasn’t fully ready at 8:15, even though we’d confirmed we’d be there for 8am. I’d also suggest cooking eggs to order.

We really enjoyed our four-night stay in June 2025. The hotel has only a few rooms and had been open for just a short while, but it was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were in room number 3, overlooking the pool with a view of the stronghold in the old town. The hotel is just outside the old town walls. The staff were excellent, friendly and professional, and took great care of us.

We got a lovely surprise at this place, which hadn’t been open long and left us unsure what to expect. Even though we arrived very late, they explained how to find the hotel and left our key at reception. The passcode security made it feel safe. The outdoor area was peaceful, with pretty flowers, several places to sit and relax, and cold water available. The pool is small, but we used it to cool off each afternoon because the days were so hot. If you’re lucky, the neighbors cat might come say hi! Our room was clean, nicely decorated and had a little terrace. The fridge had bottles of water, the bedding was very comfortable, and there were even slippers. Breakfast was fresh and really good. We stayed three nights and had a different breakfast each day, with healthy salads, cold cuts, cheese, eggs on demand, wraps, sandwiches, fruit, yogurt and other things, plus juice and coffee. The receptionist was kind and helpful, taking time to explain things and chat with us. Thanks so much for the stay. We hope to come back!

We really enjoyed three nights at this charming little boutique hotel. The Spindler hotel has well-appointed rooms, and its Old Town location is perfect. Everything was lovely, from the staff and yummy breakfasts to the garden with its perfect view. The pool is refreshing, though a little small, and a nice extra to have in the garden. Compliments to the staff. Highly recommend! 😊
