The location worked well for me, with both the sea and the city center an easy walk away. The woman at reception was very friendly too. But my attic room was small, had little storage and no window, just light coming through the glass in the wooden door. There was no air conditioning, so it stayed hot in the evenings and I had to leave the door open with a fan in front of it. It’s okay for 1-2 nights. I stayed four nights only because I was short on time and didn’t want to lose another day moving. Next time, I’d pay an extra 20 euros a day for a better-equipped room.

The host’s service is top-notch, and the studio for two sits in a quiet, leafy corner. Funtana’s best location, in my view: right where two main streets meet, close to a small shop and a big supermarket. It’s an easy ten-minute walk to the beach in the camp, and Porec is 10 minutes away by car. There’s plenty to see and do nearby.
