Polidor Family Camping Resort

In the pre-season, this place suited us perfectly. We were about a 15-minute walk from the sea, and our fenced pitch was clean and a good size, which was handy with the dogs. I can't say what it's like in peak summer when the big campsites nearby are full, though that would be interesting to see. We picked it because it was open in March, was a smaller site, and had washrooms with proper doors and windows, useful at that time of year. The welcome was very friendly, with a thorough explanation of everything. We had chosen our pitch from home, and that all worked out well. Getting to it meant negotiating a narrow spot and a tight bend at the right angle. Our mover wasn't working, and the pitch had a tight angle and slight slope, but some young, strong staff helped right away. We were set up in no time. Thanks to the whole team for a great stay!

The staff were polite and quick to respond, and the cabin was clean, cozy and well looked after. The showers all worked properly, with no complaints from us. Our kids also got a visit from a friendly outdoor cat for two days. We stayed in October with the children in a mobile home with a jacuzzi and swimming pool. It was rainy, but the house was heated just right and the pool was wonderfully warm. With the roof enclosure and the pretty lighting at night, we barely noticed the weather. We came away with lovely memories. One thing for anyone visiting off-season: the campsite cafés and restaurants aren't open outside the main season.

We stumbled across Polidor Camping Resort by chance, but next time we'll be coming back on purpose. The staff were so kind and easy to approach, always ready to help with a smile. There's a small shop, restaurant, playground and private bathrooms you can rent, which made for a comfortable stay. It feels relaxed and welcoming, with the whole camp under leafy trees that give plenty of shade. The pool area has a small bar, and you can bring your dog along to sit beside you in the shade. Dogs are truly welcome here. Some spotless, thoughtfully laid-out mobile homes have fenced areas where dogs can explore safely. There are also pitches and charming glamping options, hammocks dotted under the trees, and even some pitches with inflatable jacuzzis. The more luxurious homes have their own barbecue areas and wooden jacuzzis, with access to a private covered pool. The campsite is near Poreč and the sea is about an 8-minute walk away. For motorhome or camper van trips, they offer attractive winter deals for longer stays, a nice option for a peaceful escape. It was a lovely surprise.

We went for a week at the start of October 2025, liked it so much that we stayed three weeks, and are already looking forward to returning. The staff were helpful and friendly from early morning to late evening, and the toilets and showers were spotless with no queues. The sea is within a 5-minute walk, with lovely walking and cycling paths. Our gravel pitch had electricity and water, and the site had everything we needed. We didn't use the pools because the weather was too cool, and the on-site restaurant was closed for the season. I highly recommend it.
