The hotel’s in good shape and clearly maintained, and the location works well too. I like the place, though I’d prefer a more current look, with bolder colors, sustainable materials, walk in showers, and exterior plants to help offset carbon emissions and improve air quality.

My room was damaged, and the doorknobs were coming apart. The cleaning lady didn’t make my bed. Service was slow and rude, and although I paid for breakfast, morning coffee wasn’t included.

The pizza was awful, made with the cheapest ingredients, even grated ham. The goulash wasn’t anything special either. We waited around 20 minutes for the waiter. Prices were the only acceptable part, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The staff were kind and helpful. Still, bring slippers if you don’t want to walk on carpet that’s 13 years old. There’s no extra lock on the inside of the room doors.

We stopped in for coffee and cake before church. They were just okay, neither the coffee nor the cake was the best. I guess it was fine for Garesnica. Bless you guys.
