Juraga Apartment in Bale

The setting is so peaceful, with the crickets in the background and an owl now and then. You can sleep with the windows open and barely hear a thing, which made the stay a real break from everyday stress. That quiet and the beauty of the place are why I gave it four stars. The room was lovely and small, but the space was laid out well, and the bathroom had a big shower. Guests can use the pool, which has loungers, umbrellas, chairs, and a shower. The room is managed like an apartment, so there’s no in-room cleaning. That wouldn’t matter much if a broom or vacuum were provided to keep the floor tidy. The mattress and pillow were extremely uncomfortable, which is a shame for such a nice property. There’s no breakfast service here, and the neighboring San Tommaso only serves its own guests. Since I stayed for a week, I was glad I’d brought my electric coffee maker.

The room was comfortable and very clean, and there’s a pool. It’s a quiet area, though it’s a shame they don’t offer breakfast. It’s near Basel.
