We were eight in the group, and every one of us loved the place, even though we're not easy to please. The hosts were helpful and had plenty of local information. Gradac is also a handy base for getting around Dalmatia, with Dubrovnik, Split, Trogir, Mljet, Korčula, Brač, Hvar, Brela, Makarska, Biokovo, Ston, Mostar and Sarajevo all within reach. The beaches are lovely and the water is clear. The house itself feels almost like being on a boat: you can see the sea from every room and hear the waves. It's spacious, spotless and stylish, with all the comforts we needed. The garden felt like something from a storybook, and its well-equipped kitchen chill-out area looks right over the sea, since the house is literally on the beach. The bathrooms and laundry room were fully equipped too. There was homemade olive oil in the kitchen and wine in the fridge, which felt unreal. Restaurants are very close by.

A beautifully furnished villa, just right for an evening away with the family.
