The apartment was a total disaster, so we complained as soon as we saw it, canceled our reservation and left. The landlord met us by the car and seemed very friendly, so I'm giving him 2 stars for service. The location wasn't very attractive, above the main road, though it was cheap. The parking area was unpaved, and the gravel drive made it hard to drive up the slope. It wasn't really clean: the dishes and cutlery were dirty, the toilet was filthy, there was hair on the bathroom shelf, and melon seeds were under the couch blanket. The kitchen and bathroom smelled like sewage, and one mattress smelled of urine. The gas stove was connected to a gas cylinder in the cabinet below. The windows in the second bedroom, kitchen and bathroom looked into a cluttered, dirty storage room instead of outside.

It's an unusual place with its own atmosphere, though there's no luxury. A good base to sleep and then head out exploring. The window views make up for it, and the bay is a 10-minute walk away. I recommend it.

It's good value for money, as long as you keep in mind it's a low-cost place. The apartment was clean and renovated compared with the photos, and the mattresses were new. The kids liked the nearest beach best. Crossing the main road on foot with children was no problem, and even our youngest, who is 3 years old, could walk back up from the beach. The hosts were nice and gave us fresh figs, which we really appreciated :-) ♥. I recommend keeping the bathroom doors shut because sewage smells can come through. With the doors closed, the odor doesn't spread through the apartment.
