ABUSIVE OWNERS, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This was the worst place ever. The rooms and the place smelled terrible, and I experienced the worst customer service I knew existed. I do not recommend it. They took my passport when I arrived, though I thought they were only going to scan it, and refused to return it until I paid for three nights. I didn’t want to stay because the smell was unbearable and the rooms were well below what I expected. They wouldn’t even let me negotiate paying for one night and leaving early. When I went to get my passport, which was right in front of me, the married couple physically attacked me. They pinned me to the ground, hit me, pulled my pants down to get the passport from my pocket, bruised my neck, and then blackmailed me by saying they wouldn’t give it back. In the end I had no choice but to pay. I’m shocked I had this experience. THERE ARE NICER PLACES TO STAY NEARBY OUTSIDE THIS MEDIEVAL OLD CITY. Luckily, I found somewhere to stay 10 minutes away!
