I’m sharing this so future guests know what I found at "Art Deco Pape." The listing describes a family boutique hotel with renovated suites and modern interiors, but that didn’t match our experience at all. The place was filthy and felt unsafe. The vents were caked with dirt, the grout was black with mold, the electrical outlets were unsanitary, and the plumbing was clogged, with dirty water leaking from the siphon. The colors and style they call distinctive looked more like mold, grime and rust. The worst part was the mattress. It had disgusting stains I couldn’t identify and what looked like large patches of mold. That’s beyond a cleaning problem, it felt like a health risk. The "Art Deco Pape team" talks about guest satisfaction, inclusion, respect and care, but the condition of the accommodation made me feel they showed none of that. The listing’s flowery description is misleading. I’d avoid this place and the possible health risks. Airbnb refunded me immediately, which I feel speaks for itself.
