Camp Kopito

We spent a week here and found it really peaceful, even though Hvar town is within walking distance. It’s a great little campsite with everything you need for camping. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating, and kept all the facilities spotless. Would definitely recommend, and hopefully we’ll be back.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and the campsite had everything we needed. The toilets were lovely and clean too. We stayed three nights and really enjoyed the stunning view. Hvar is easy to reach, about a 15 minute walk or just a couple of minutes by car. I’d happily stay again.

We loved the view, and the host was great. He can collect you from the harbour or bus station and bring you back. The mobile homes are basic and a bit small, but have what you need. It’s quite a way from the centre, so expect to use taxis. It cost 100 kuna from the centre to the mobile home, or around 60 to Milna if you call a taxi. There are quite a few wasps around the pool, but they don’t bother anyone. Bring mosquito repellent and enjoy your stay.

We paid 210 Kuna (€28) a night for two people, which felt like a great price. It took us about 20 minutes to walk into the city, and we didn’t use the folding bike because the hill was really steep. The small campground sits in an olive grove just outside Hvar, and we could pick our own pitch. The owner was really friendly and speaks good English. The sanitary facilities look almost new, and both they and the swimming pool were very clean.
