Guest House Vuljan

The view from the house is amazing, and getting into town is easier than it looks. There are some steps on the way up, but they weren’t too difficult. Our hosts were so welcoming and gave us great ideas for things to see around the island and some delicious restaurants to try. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we felt right at home. We’d happily stay here again.

We were lucky to find this family-run guest house. Lada and Gordan made us feel genuinely cared for, and their advice for exploring Hvar was really helpful. The place was very clean and close to the town center. It sits a little higher up, so there are some easy stairs, but the views make the climb worthwhile. One of our best vacations, and we’d gladly stay with them again. Thank you, Lada and Gordan!

We ended up needing a room in Hvar for the night after a tire blew, and finding somewhere for our small group was a bit tricky. Jasna made us feel so welcome at her guest house, which worked perfectly for the four of us. We booked two rooms, each with its own bathroom and a full or queen bed, and both the rooms and bathrooms were spotless. One room had a lovely sea view and a small terrace with a table and chairs; the other had a roomy sea-view patio. We had leftovers from the night before, then picked up wine, arugula and bread at Konzum. Jasna brought us plates and cutlery. That evening we got to see the fort lit up over Hvar town, and the sun was coming up the next morning. A lovely surprise in an unexpected stop.
