We had a lovely stay, with beautiful views over the city, and the place had everything needed for cooking. The people looking after us were lovely too. Even with the blankets, though, it got a bit cold in the evenings. We visited in October, so some chill was normal, but bigger blankets or central heating could have made things more comfortable.

The view from the castle is stunning, and the place itself has great facilities. The owner is warm and welcoming. This is my favorite place I’ve visited in Croatia, and I’d definitely come back if I got the chance.

We’ve only just arrived, but the welcome has been lovely. The room has pretty much everything, including a hot plate, shower, seasonings and mosquito repellent. Beaches and other activities take a bit of walking to reach, so it’s best to avoid the hottest part of the day. The shaded alleys are beautiful.

Maria is wonderful, like the grandmother everyone would love to have. Her garden produce is incredible, and those cookies, oh my god! The room was spotless and had a kitchen, and the balcony views were remarkable. I’d love to return a thousand times.
