Hotel Fortuna

Our room looked straight out onto the Adriatic Sea, just steps from a beautiful, quaint beach. The third floor pool has a gorgeous mountain view, and you can get drinks by the pool. Rooms were spotless and comfortable, the food was hard to beat, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Hotel Fortuna is family owned and run, and they took great care of us. Dan, our server, and Damjan, the hotel’s chauffeur, were both kind, knowledgeable and fun. Try the Poncic wine and Travarica. It was an incredible stay, probably the best hotel we’ve ever been to. We can’t wait to come back.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, but enjoyed a great lunch there. The beachside location was lovely, and the food and service were excellent. The Chicken Sambuca and Dalmatian house special were delicious, highly recommended. Matej was a wonderful host and made our lunch feel special. If you’re tired of the hustle and hassle of Hvar town, the short drive to Milna is well worth it for the beach and better value food.

This was awful. The tiniest room had no window, let alone a sea view, and even an Airbnb room would have been better. There was no luggage help, no real service, and absolutely no hospitality. The receptionist was rude and had a terrible attitude. I don't think whoever runs this place knows what a four-star hotel should be. It feels like tourists are being misled with fake reviews and photos. Save your money and don't get fooled into staying here.

A lovely beach spot away from the bustle, with spacious, clean rooms and a great view from mine. Breakfast was very good, and the family were nice. It worked well for a quiet break, especially if all you want to do is relax by the beach. Hvar town is too far to walk, though, so you'll need a car or the shuttle, and there's not much else to do nearby.
