Villa Fora Hvar

Our room was beautifully kept and spotless, and the hotel staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Natalija even came to find us when we arrived. It’s a short walk from the main pier. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, where we received a generous discount and a complimentary glass of champagne as guests. Villa Nora exceeded what we expected, and we’d gladly recommend it to visitors to Hvar.

We’ve returned to Villa Nora several times and plan to come back again for its warm service, clean rooms, and atmosphere. It’s a family-run place, and that personal care really comes through. The rooms are roomy and well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the decor has an authentic Dalmatian feel. The restaurant is in a beautifully restored traditional Dalmatian house and serves dinner too. Breakfast is generous, with homemade cheese, pancetta, jam, fresh fruit, and vegetables. Omelets are made to order, and I especially recommend the onion or pancetta one.

A big, comfortable bedroom and a hearty breakfast that kept us going all day. The staff were welcoming and really nice, and the place has a lovely old-world feel.

Natalia met us at the ferry and pointed out a few things around town as we walked to the hotel. The hospitality and location were just right. Our room was very clean, spacious, and pleasant, with a little fridge for snacks and drinks. Breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, eggs cooked to order, juice, and coffee each morning.
