I’d recommend the apartment with the sea view and balcony. The separate bedroom and kitchen made it quiet, and it had air conditioning. The town center is a 20-minute walk, while a beautiful beach is 10 minutes away on foot. The host was friendly and quick to respond to questions.

This albergue sits right by the river in the peaceful village of Paladín, and it’s an easy first day’s walk from Oviedo. I especially liked the outdoor setup, with a small bar, dining area, terrace above the bar, and another spot for pilgrims to gather. The family cares deeply about the heart and spirit of the Camino, which comes through in their homemade food. We had delicious stuffed avocados as an appetizer, then fresh croissants straight from the oven the next morning. Some of the best food I’ve had. This is my fifth Camino, and I’d rank this among the best albergues I’ve stayed in. It’s brand new, and the owners are very conscientious about bed bugs, a problem many people, including me, have encountered on the Camino Frances. They’re doing their best to prevent it at their albergue on the Primitivo. Highly recommended.

We stayed four nights and were welcomed warmly by the really nice owner. It’s about 15 minutes from Hvar city center and five minutes from the beach. I highly recommend it!

The apartment had everything we needed, and the keeper was very friendly. They even gave us handmade limoncello to try. One of the best beaches is only five minutes away. A very nice place, highly recommended!

The worst place I’ve ever stayed. The bedrooms looked very different from the photos, and there was no real kitchen, just some poor stuff. After we had already finished our stay, I left notes on Booking and the host called me, cancelled the stay, and started insulting me. Awful place.
