The owner was easy to reach and happy to help with questions, and even supplied different kinds of insect repellent for the evenings. We loved the location, just a two-minute walk to a beach with sun loungers and hardly anyone around. We expected the lack of air conditioning to be uncomfortable, but it wasn’t, and everything felt perfect. Just know that the third bedroom is in a separate building. It has air conditioning, but you reach it by climbing a ladder, a detail we’d somehow missed. Such a lovely villa, and I’ll definitely recommend it to friends.

We enjoyed our stay in some ways, but the house wasn’t clean. The floor felt sticky, the bathrooms smelled unpleasant, and the pool water was cloudy with dirt on the bottom. The price felt far too high for those conditions. There were quite a few problems inside. The grill was dirty and hadn’t been set up for guests, the toaster was damaged, the pizza oven didn’t work, and the FRONT DOOR wouldn’t close. We also found out that the third bedroom is in a separate building. The attic bedroom upstairs was especially difficult: it had no air conditioning, just two loud fans, and was up a steep staircase. The description hadn’t mentioned that, and it was too hot to sleep there.
