Holiday Home Duje

We wanted a quiet break close to nature, and Holiday Home Duje suited us well. The surroundings are green and peaceful, with lovely walks nearby, and the terrace has a beautiful sea view. The apartment is fully equipped, from kitchen utensils and plenty of towels to a comfortable bed, plus there's an outdoor fireplace. The owner was very kind and accommodating, always ready to help and quick to answer our questions. The village has a nice cafe and pizzeria, while the shops open twice daily. A great option for getting away from the crowds in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended! 🌿🏡🌅

Komoševa on Mali Iž is quiet, with clean water and lovely beaches, though the shore is rocky and finding a suitable spot for small children takes some effort. There's little traffic, which makes getting around by bike or on foot pleasant. If you want a lively scene, this isn't the place. The quiet is occasionally interrupted by arrogant nautical tourists, and many locals drive unregistered vehicles, so take care on the road and with insurance. Hiša Duje is modern and nicely equipped, with SATV, wifi, air conditioning and a washing machine. There's a terrace and barbecue, and Julija and Luka, who live on the mainland, are friendly hosts. Dogs are welcome, the sea is a minute away, and the view is lovely. A well-stocked shop is 2-3 minutes away, with two buffets nearby and a tavern that's quite expensive. There are other taverns on the island, and sometimes a fisherman sells the morning's fresh catch. Boats to Zadar run several times a day. In season, book the ferry well ahead. The hosts arranged mine for me.

You can get around without a car, with swimming spots within walking distance and a tavern, cafe, and mini-supermarket close by. The small harbor and ferry to Zadar and Veli Iz are just a two-minute walk away. It's a small, well-furnished house with a beautiful sea view, and the landlords are friendly.

Great location, wonderful hosts, and a fantastic place to stay. 5/5.
