What made the trip so memorable was Veli Iz, a lovely little village where we ate well at every restaurant, and at reasonable prices. The house was right in the center, beautifully kept and spotlessly clean, with plenty of amenities and comfortable areas indoors and out. It stayed cool, too, and the owners were kind and ready to help. There were seven of us for 10 days in August. As with many islands we’ve visited, there isn’t really a beach here, so having a boat is essential. We still treasure this wonderful holiday.
