Ivan Dolac is the quieter side of Hvar, so it won't suit you if you want to party all night. For a beach holiday with family, though, Dunja’s Apartmani is great value at a very fair price. The apartments are nicely furnished in a traditional Croatian style, with well-equipped kitchens, new bathrooms, and all the amenities you need. The beachside setting and views are wonderful. The biggest reason to stay is the hostess, Dunya, a lovely Croatian baba who treats guests like family, especially the kids. Her son Paulo handles bookings and speaks excellent English. Enjoy your stay!

For me, this was perfect. The apartments were very clean, looked just like the photos, and had what I needed for cooking and making coffee. The owners are lovely and always willing to help, and the value for money is more than excellent. It's right by the sea, with sunny weather and beautiful nature. It's a great family spot for swimming, hanging out, walks, or dinner at a nearby restaurant. Hvar City and its lively nightlife are farther away, so this isn't the place for partying until dawn.

The water is crystal clear, and there are steps down to the sea. Right there, you can sunbathe on a tiny private pebble beach or a concrete landing, and there's a path to a bigger beach nearby. The owners are very nice and helpful. The quiet home has plenty of beds and blankets, and the kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, salt, and pepper, plus a gas stove and oven. I'd love to come back.

The owners were very nice and helpful, and Dunja has a lovely place to eat, with a table and grill overlooking the sea. It's very close to the shoreline and beach. The place is nice, the standard is fine, and the bathroom is clean. The kitchen has the usual basics, including a freezer. I recommend it.
