DO NOT Book Here. We booked a month ahead, but just a few hours after check-in the owner barged in and ordered us to get our things and leave within five minutes because he had another booking. He yelled at my daughter. When I asked him to be nice, he said he didn't have to be, and that we didn't matter because we were staying one night while his other guests were staying ten. He said we should have checked the photos on Booking.com and claimed we should be in another unit, even though we'd checked in properly, been given the keys, and were in the unit shown online. He threatened and insulted us, and my youngest daughter was left in tears. A woman with him apologized repeatedly, but his behavior was monstrous. We told him we'd report it to Booking.com, and he didn't care.

You get less when you pay less, which is pretty obvious. The place was clean, but there wasn't much more to it. The owner asked for cash only and didn't give a receipt.

ZLATNI RAT is an Adriatic gem, with a gorgeous beach in Croatia.
